My Dad is a lay reader in Godmanchester, and I very rarely now get to hear him preach (I am a very lazy Christian and Sunday Mornings rarely see me in Church, even when I make it to Huntingdon). He posted his most recent evensong sermon on his blog today and I really enjoyed reading it.
I thought I'd share it with you: Sermon
I have to admit to sometimes skipping through some of the more religious stuff on Dad's blog, I tend to like the personal stuff best (sorry Dad!!) but something I'm coming to understand is that this is a huge thing for him to do, and its a way for me to keep connected and worship from my own space.
I'm fairly open about most things, but something I still struggle with is talking about my faith, whether through fear of ridicule or being deemed a not very "good" Christian I'm not sure. But the words my dad put around that gospel made me sit up and think.
